takes credit card fraud and identity theft very seriously.
As a policy, we will make every effort to identify, locate
and assist law enforcement in the apprehension of any individual
or organization which perpetuates these crimes. Emerio supports
the Reporting Economic Crime OnLine (RECOL) initiative - a
project of the National White Collar Crime Centre of Canada.
If you
believe you have been a victim of credit card or identity
theft through a transaction which occurred with a member of
the Emerio community, we ask that you immediately contact
us at fraud@emeriocanada.com.
We will assist you in filing a complaint with
RECOL. RECOL will then pass on the information to the RCMP,
Ontario Provincial Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI) in the United States as appropriate.
